[Operations] SNMP on vROPS

 

SNMP 서버 구성은 CentOS에서 진행하였고, 아래 링크 참고

vROPS UI > Configure > Alerts > Outbound Settings > ADD

 

Instance Name 입력(원하는 대로)

Destination Host에는 SNMP Server 입력

나머지는 모두 Default 값으로 선택하고 TEST 버튼 클릭

 

성공적으로 SNMP 서버와의 연결이 되면 다음과 같은 결과 화면 확인 가능

 

이 때, SNMP 서버인 CentOS에서 162 포트를 대상으로 Packet 수집을 해보면 다음과 같이 vROPS에서 전달되는 Packet 확인 가능
