[Operations] SDMP와 Telegraf Agent 차이

 

구성 환경

우선 Service Discovery가 활성화되어 있는 환경이어야 함

Data Source > Integrations > vCenter > Three Dots > Edit > Service Discovery TAB > Select Toggle Button

 

테스트 Windows VM에 Telegraf Agent 설치한 환경이어야 함(Cloud Proxy 사전 설치 필요)

Environment > Applications > Select VM > Three Dots > Install

 

SDMP

위와 같은 환경이 구성된 상황에서 Telegraf가 설치되지 않은 VM(debuggee)에는 IIS 서비스 설치

Environment > Applications > Manage SDMP Services

아래 화면과 같이 debuggee VM 하위 IIS 서비스가 탐색된 것을 알 수 있음

 

IIS 서비스는 Configure > Application Discovery > Service Configuration에 등록되어 있는 서비스 중 하나

 

Telegraf Agents

Environment > Applications > Manage Telegraf Agents

아래 화면과 같이 ad01 이라는 VM에 telegraf agent가 설치된 상태로, Active Directory 서비스가 검색되어 있음

처음에는 "?" 로 표시되어 있어 Add 필요

 

Environment > Applications > Applications Home에 가면, Telegraf Agents가 설치된 VM에서 검색된 서비스를 Add 한 항목이 표시
